Quality marker 3 of the National Stroke StrategyInformation, advice and support, has a marker of a quality service 'people who have had a stroke, and their relatives and carers, have access to practical advice, emotional support, advocacy and information throughout the care pathway and lifelong.'
Here the Stroke Improvement Programme brings together examples of good practice for providing information for people who have had a stroke and their families as a resource for staff working in stroke services and those involved in commissioning such services.
