Stroke4Carers - new web based stroke carers' resource
Stroke4Carers is a free site that provides online help and support for carers. These include downloadable clips of service users talking about their experiences and practical tips relating to coping on a daily basis and communication etc. The ability to download clips to a DVD means the content is accessible to carers who do not have internet access. Much of the content is relevant to carers of people who have a stroke, although the benefits and legislation module is specific to Scotland.
