Calling all BACPR Members: BACPR Council Elections

Are you an enthusiastic individual who would like to take a more active role in the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR)?

Would you like to help shape how BACPR develops over the next two years? Would you like to contribute to the running of the Association? Would you be interested in contributing and gaining first-hand experience in promoting excellence in cardiovascular disease prevention and rehabilitation and influencing national policy? If the answer to these questions is YES, then please apply to become a member of BACPR Council. The BACPR welcomes interest from anyone with an active interest in cardiovascular disease prevention and rehabilitation – the only condition is that you must be a current BACPR member.

This year, BACPR are recruiting for the following posts:
President Elect
Ordinary Council Officer (1 post)

The current composition of the Council means that at this time applications are open to all professions from all UK nations. In aligning with the BACPR’s current goals experience or particular interest in any one or more of the following areas would be especially welcomed:

  • Education and training
  • Development of competences frameworks
  • E-experience (for example website development, on-line learning, e-based media)
  • Working (or previous relevant experience) as a network manager


Deadline for nominations is Monday 13th February 2012 at 12.00 noon.
