Following the integration of the Cancer Service Collaborative ‘Improvement Partnership’, Diagnostics Improvement; Heart Improvement Programme and Stroke Improvement, NHS Improvement national priorities are designed to help achieve and support delivery of the following:

  • National Service Framework for Coronary Heart Disease
  • 18 Week Programme
  • National Stroke Strategy

Do you want to join the NHS Improvement Diagnostics team?
NHS Improvement is looking for Pathology and Radiology National Improvement Leads to join the team. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a ‘how to’ approach to improving the efficiency and quality of NHS services, and should have extensive experience in leading edge service improvement methods, project and change management.

The Demand and Capacity module:
  • allows you to record demand, activity, backlog and capacity data;
  • can be used daily or weekly as an operational or retrospective tool;
  • provides a visual and dynamic interactive dashboard monitoring tool;

  • provides a backlog monitoring and management tool;
  • uses integrated SPC tools and a variety of other charting features to help you identify variation;

  • is fully complementary with other service improvement methodologies.
