Survey of interventional radiology service provision- NHS England
The BSIR worked with NHS Improvement to develop a survey proforma for 24/7 Interventional Radiology provision. The survey asked services to describe their unit and current services and assess their current level of 24/7 service provision for Interventional Radiology.
This is the first publication of the maps of Interventional Radiology Services in England. The maps have been developed from the survey conducted in Spring 2011. Trusts have self assessed their status as Red, Amber or Green based on whether a formal on- call consultant rota and agreed formal pathway of care is in place. The maps are intended to be dynamic and version 1 represents the position of services as at 31 October 2011.
