Cardiac and Stroke Data Walls

The Cardiac and Stroke data walls are a sign-posting resource that provide an overview of the current data landscape with supporting information about data collection and usage. The data walls also present key metrics within the framework of the whole patient pathway, and includes valuable strategic information.

The supporting information contains a brief explanation of the measures involved and the drivers for data collection. You can learn more about specific datasets via hyperlinks to a variety of sources which provide further explanation and/or access to data - in addition to related websites.

The data walls are particularly useful to Cardiac and Stroke Networks, PCT, Acute and SHA staff who require an understanding of the scope of data sources currently available, but also frontline staff with an interest in data and information requirements.

Please share your knowledge

The data walls reflects an on-going commitment to capture national sources of data related to both cardiology and stroke care, information, guidance and best practice and will evolve and develop as key information is added over time. Due to the nature of the rapidly changing informatics arena, we encourage participation from users to keep the resource current and relevant. Should you have any comments or contributions relating to either Data Wall, please email: support@improvement.nhs.uk
